So I've just been testing the waters with krennic and I like him. He just "feels" right with his +10% energy passive and his fast reloadable ability. Does anyone play him? And if so do they have better results going with a high energy average or a low average deck?

You can go a little higher with him. The energy boost is great. Not sure how it will work with the Death Squad going up to six. I have a 3.4 avg energy cost.
I drop the Death Squad Trooper in the back and he will multiple twice before crossing the bridge. I put the LTV in front and rock and roll. The DST will take out the leader often. Then I hit the Rocket Stormtropper on the back side.
